A low-profile energy return AFO, designed to provide dynamic motion control. Manufactured as a made to measure device to measurements, scan or cast.

Features

  • Footplate, calf band and strut contoured to the patient’s individual anatomy
  • Preloaded dynamic strut with 3 levels of control
  • Choice of medial or lateral strut
  • Integrated stabilising heel post
  • Dynamic footplate
  • Perforations to for footplate to allow additional air flow
  • Interchangeable calf band (with or without strap)
  • Choice of colours for strapping and lining

Indications

  • Flaccid foot drop
  • Dorsiflexor muscle weakness secondary to other neurological pathologies such as MS/CVA/MND etc
  • Common peroneal nerve dysfunction

Contraindications

  • Severe coronal plane instabilities
  • Fixed deformity of the foot and ankle
  • Spasticity
