Neuro Adjustable
The Neuro Adjustable is a dynamic cervical orthosis based on the principles of the Neuro collar but with the ability to adjust for height and increase the functional input from the device. Manufactured as a made to measure device to a scan or cast.
Features
- Easy adjustability allowing for both height and functional input modifications
- The height can be altered for different activities e.g. TV watching, eating etc
- Chin and chest sections are contoured to individual anatomy
- Flexion resist / extension assist
- Open design to allow air flow and accommodate tracheostomy tubes
- Lightweight
- Easy donning
- Black with choice of lining colour
Indications
- Dropped head syndrome
- Weakness of the extensor mechanism of the neck associated with neurological conditions e.g. MND
- When a patient requires varying levels of flexion resist/extension assist or when fine tuning at supply is required
Contraindications
- Fixed flexion contractures of the neck
- Torticollis
- Lateral instabilities of the neck
